Zusammenfassung
Ausgehend vom Beispiel eines akzessorischen Bündels des M. soleus wird auf das Vorkommen von überzähligen Muskelbäuchen in der Regio retromalleolaris medialis hingewiesen. Diese sind, wie Muskelvariationen ganz allgemein, so häufig, daß sie bei der Differentialdiagnose von Weichteiltumoren mitzuberücksichtigen sind.
Abstract
A case of an anomalous accessory soleus muscle simulating a soft-tissue tumor anteromedial to the Achilles tendon is reported, and the litterature concerning anomalies of muscles is reviewed. Correct diagnosis can normally be revealed by computerized axial tomography.
