Abstract

We report on a case of spontaneous sequester formation of the distal finger phalanx in a 36 years-old woman with progressive systemic scleroderma and take special care on the clinical course during extra corporal ultraviolet blood-irradiation (UV-BI). UV-BI is recommended as an alternative therapeutic mode for acroosteolytic resorptio dissecans in scleroderma. Additionally, the case report illustrates the partial reversibility of PSS associated nail changes.

Zusammenfassung

Vorgestellt wird der Fall einer spontanen Sequesterbildung der Fingerendphalanx des Mittelfingers einer 36jährigen Patientin mit einer progressiven systemischen Sklerodermie und der Heilungsverlauf unter extrakorporaler Ultraviolett-Blutbestrahlung (UV-BB). Die UV-BB wird als alternative Möglichkeit zur adjuvanten Therapie bei akroosteolytischer resorptio dissecans im Rahmen der Sklerodermie empfohlen. Der Fallbericht illustriert die partielle Rückbildungsfähigkeit der Nagelstörungen bei PSS.
