Zusammenfassung

Das kardiovaskuläre System wird bislang in der radiologischen Diagnostik durch angiographische Untersuchungen beurteilt, die nur die Morphologie berücksichtigen. Der Einsatz digitaler Techniken in der Radiologie ermöglicht, über die Abbildung der reinen Morphologie hinausgehend, eine Berechnung von Untersuchungsergebnissen, die dann als Funktionsbild dargestellt werden können. Wir stellen Funktionsbilder vor, die durch Berechnung von Parametern der Fourier-Transformation eine Beurteilung des Blutflusses sowie der Organdurchblutung zulassen. Man gewinnt so ohne zusätzliche Untersuchungsbelastung für den Patienten eine weitere wichtige diagnostische Entscheidungshilfe für den kardiovaskulären Bereich.

Summary

In the past, the radiology of the cardiovascular system has consisted of angiographic investigations which only demonstrate morphology. The introduction of digital techniques into radiology has made possible the demonstration of pure morphology and beyond that, calculations which provide functional information. We demonstrate functional images which, by using Fourier transformations, provide information on blood flow and organ perfusion. In this way, it is possible to obtain important additional diganostic information concerning the cardiovascular system, without imposing any further stress on the patient.
