Zusammenfassung

Die zusätzliche Anwendung des 3-D-Displayprogramms bringt eine sehr gute Zusatzinformation bei traumatisch bedingten Verletzungen der Rhinobasis und bei tumorösen Veränderungen des knöchernen Orbitatrichters. Das Rechenprogramm bringt wesentliche Zusatzinformationen und Entscheidungshilfen für den Radiologen und wird in Zukunft Therapieentscheidungen wesentlich beeinflussen.

Summary

The additional use of a 3-D display programme provides valuable information in cases of trauma to the mid-face and tumours of the bony orbits. The computer programme provides important additional information for the radiologist and, in future, will influence treatment significantly.
