Zusammenfassung
Es werden klinische und pathologischanatomische Befunde vorgestellt, die an einigen
AIDS-Patienten mit okulärer Beteiligung beobachtet wurden. Nebst cytoid bodies und
Zytomegalie-Retinitis (aktiv und vernarbt im gleichen Bulbus) konnten eine Irisatrophie
nach Herpes zoster und ein Schwund der inneren Netzhautschichten bei progressiver
Leukoenzephalopathie festgestellt werden.
Summary
In this paper the authors describe the clinical signs and histopathological findings
resulting from ocular complications in patients who died of AIDS. For the most part
cytoid bodies were observed, and active as well as scarred cytomegalic retinitis in
the same eye. In one case there was post-zoster iris atrophy, and in another atrophy
of the inner retinal layers, apparently related to progressive diffuse leukoencephalopathy.
