Echographische Befunde und Differentialdiagnostik bei (peri-)orbitalen Dermoidzysten

Zusammenfassung

Die Auswertung der echographischen Befunde von 34 Patienten mit histologisch gesicherten Dermoidzysten erbrachte folgende Ultraschallkriterien: Das A-Bild zeigt eine rundliche, regulär strukturierte, variabel hoch-reflektierende Läsion, die von einer maximal-hohen, doppelgipfeligen Zacke begrenzt wird. Es besteht eine strenge Korrelation zwischen dem Grad der Reflektivität, der Konsistenz des Dermoids und der Beschaffenheit seines Inhalts. Das B-Bild läßt eine scharf konturierte Raumforderung mit homogen-verteilten Innenechos erkennen. Differentialdiagnostisch wichtige Läsionen werden unter echographischen Aspekten diskutiert.

Summary

The analysis of echographic findings in 34 patients with histologically proven dermoids revealed the following characteristic criteria: A scan sonography shows a roundish, regularly structured lesion of variably high reflectance bordered by a very high, double-peaked surface spike. There is a strong correlation between the degree of reflectivity, the consistency of the dermoid, and the composition of its contents. The B-scan shows a sharply outlined lesion with homogeneously distributed internal echos. Differential diagnoses are discussed on the basis of echographic findings and criteria.
