Die individuelle statistische Analyse als Entscheidungshilfe bei der Beurteilung von Gesichtsfeldbefunden

Die statistische Analyse (lineare Regression und Streuung um die Regression in Abhängigkeit von der Beobachtungszeit) kann auch beim individuellen Patienten signifikante Trends und Streuungen in einzelnen Abschnitten des Gesichtsfeldes (Octopus® Programme 21 und 31) aufdecken. Beide Kriterien können unabhängig voneinander und unabhängig von der Ausgangslage auftreten und dürften bei der Betreuung von chronischen, progredienten Leiden wesentliche Entscheidungshilfen darstellen.

Summary

Statistical analysis (linear regression and scatter around the fitted curve as a function of the observation time) can detect significant trends and fluctuations in certain portions of the visual fields of individual patients (determined using Octopus® programs 21 and 31). Both criteria can be applied independently of each other and also independently of the initial situation encountered. They may provide important help for decisions concerning the treatment of chronic, progressive conditions.
