Vorübergehende bikanalikuläre Intubation bei Tränenkanalinsuffizienz

Die vorübergehende Intubation eines Silikonschlauches in die ableitenden Tränenwege, zur Erhaltung der Durchflußregulierung auf normalem anatomischen Wege. Wir präsentieren die Resultate von 37 vorübergehend intubierten Patienten (33 Fälle) behandelt seit April 1982 mit der Silikonsonde, modifiziert von Royer (Firme Statice). Ein zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis wurde bei 75% der behandelnden Patienten erzielt; Rückfälle werden bei einem Zeitdurchschnitt von 14 Monaten beobachtet (2-35 Monaten). Die wichtigsten technischen Probleme und Komplikationen der Methode werden diskutiert.

Summary

Temporary silicone tube intubation of the lacrimal drainage system is a dilating procedure that enables normal anatomic structures to be preserved. This procedure aims at the maintenance of mechanical patency created by the tube even after removal of the internal support. The results of 37 temporary intubations (33 patients), performed since April 82, with the modified Royer silicone tube (Statice company) are communicated. Favorable results were obtained in almost 75% of cases, with an average follow-up of 14.1 months (minimum 2, maximum 35 months). The major technical difficulties and methodological complications are discussed.
