Dynamische Gelenkszintigraphie in der Rheumadiagnostik

Abstract

The dynamic scintigram of joints using 99 mTc-DPD makes it possible to combine two functions in a single operation and by means of a single application of the radionuclid. In spite of the fast clearance and the excellent affinity to bone, evaluation of hyperaemia of the joints as well as detection of changes in adjacent bony structures becomes possible.

According to our results to date, negative findings exclude an existing arthritis while positive findings confirm the diagnosis and allow an objective control of therapy and its course.

Zusammenfassung

Die dynamische Gelenkszintigraphie mit 99 mTc-DPD erlaubt es, in einem Arbeitsgang und durch einmalige Applikation des Radionukleids zwei Funktionen zu erfassen. Trotz der raschen Blutclearance und der guten Knochenaffinität von DPD ist einerseits eine Beurteilung der Gelenkshyperämie möglich und andererseits kann man damit auch Veränderungen der gelenksnahen Knochen erkennen.
Nach unseren bisherigen Ergebnissen schließt ein negativer Befund eine bestehende Arthritis aus, ein positiver Befund sichert die Diagnose und ermöglicht eine objektive Therapie- und Verlaufskontrolle.
