Aufgaben der Physiotherapie bei der Behandlung der rheumatoiden Hand

Abstract

Optimum management of rheumatoid arthritis requires not only extensive data and participation on the part of the patient, but also a common treatment plan devised by the managing physician, the ergotherapist and the physiotherapist. Adequate postoperative management presupposes precise knowledge of functional anatomy, surgical technique and the exact goal of therapy. Since physiotherapy must be adapted to the individual and to local conditions, fundamental principles of treatment only can be stated.

Zusammenfassung

Die optimale Betreuung des Polyarthritikers erfordert neben einer bestmöglichen Information und dem Mitmachen des Patienten ein gemeinsames Behandlungskonzept zwischen dem behandelnden Arzt, dem Ergo- und Physiotherapeuten. Eine adäquate postoperative Behandlung setzt genaue Kenntnisse der funktionellen Anatomie, der Operationstechnik und der genauen Zielsetzung voraus. Da die Physiotherapie sehr individuell und den lokalen Verhältnissen angepaßt sein muß, können nur grundlegende Therapieprinzipien angegeben werden.
