Szintigraphische Untersuchungen bei Knochenerkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Szintigraphische Untersuchungen werden seit vielen Jahren an entsprechend ausgerüsteten Kliniken durchgeführt. Isotopenuntersuchungen bei Veränderungen am Knochen und den Gelenken, zeitweise auch an denen sie direkt umgebenden Weichteilen, finden zunehmendes Interesse.

Neben dem klinischen Befund, Röntgen-, Labor- und Gewebsuntersuchungen wird die Knochenszintigraphie als mitdiagnostische Methode, besonders bei gelockerten oder fraglich gelockerten Endoprothesen, par- und periartikulären Verkalkungen, rheumatoider Arthritis, sonstigen rheumatischen Gelenkerkrankungen, entzündlichen Prozessen, tumorösen Prozessen, verzögerter Knochenheilungen, Pseudarthrosen, Arthrosen und Osteoporosen angewandt.

Insgesamt gesehen ist die Szintigraphie keine spezifische Methode, aber sie ist in der Gesamtdiagnostik nicht mehr wegzudenken.

Abstract

Scintigraphy has been carried out for many years in adequate hospitals with special equipments. Isotopic examinations have been considered to be more and more important; they are applied in cases of pathologic changes of bones and joints or in cases of changes in the surrounding areas.

Besides all medical findings, for instance X-ray, laboratory and histological ones, scintigraphic examinations have been applied as a supporting method especially in cases of loos-end endoprosthesis or a suspected loosening of the endoprosthesis, para- and periarticular calcifications, rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatoid diseases of the joints, inflammatory processes, tumourous processes, delayed healing of the bones, pseudoarthrosis and osteoporosis.

Of course the scintigraphy is a not specific method but it is extremely important for a complete diagnosis.
