Verbesserung der Darstellbarkeit des Abdomens in der Sonographie durch Kompression und Compoundtechnik

Zusammenfassung

In einer klinischen Studie wurde an 663 Patienten der Einfluß der Kompression und der Compoundtechnik auf die Darstellbarkeit des Abdomens mit dem real-time-Gerät Combison 100, dem Compoundgerät Combison 202 und dem Octoson überprüft. Bei 66 von 663 Patienten (10 %) konnte das Retroperitoneum nicht befriedigend dargestellt werden. Durch die Kompression mit dem real-time-Schallkopf war in 50 % (³³/₆₆), mit der Compoundtechnik dagegen nur in 20 % (¹³/₆₆) eine bessere Beurteilbarkeit gegeben. In 30 % (¹⁹/₆₆) war bei der Compoundtechnik durch Laufzeitfehler und Brechung eine Verschlechterung der Strukturdarstellung erkennbar.

Summary

In a clinical study with 663 patients the influence of compression and compound technique of the visualisation of the abdomen was tested with a real-time-scanner Combison 100, compound scanner Combison 202 and the Octoson-machine. In 66 patients the retroperitoneal space was not demonstrated. Compression with the real-time-transducer improves demonstration in 50 % (³³/₆₆), compound-technique 20 % (¹³/₆₆). Compound-technique was handicaped in 30 % (¹⁹/₆₆) by velocity errors and reflection which causes a deterioration in resolution.
