Computertomographie des Ellbogengelenkes

Zusammenfassung

Als unabdingbare Voraussetzung für die Interpretation der Computertomographie des Ellbogengelenke gilt die Kenntnis der Normalanatomie. Die Kompliziertheit des Gelenkes erfordert zudem klare Richtlinien für die Untersuchung, da nur auf diese Weise sämtliche anatomischen Strukturen von pathologischen abgegrenzt werden können. Anhand eines klinischen Beispiels wird gezeigt, daß die Computertomographie des Ellbogengelenkes vor allem bei der Suche nach Dissekaten den konventionellen Röntgenmethoden überlegen ist und damit eine wichtige Zusatzuntersuchung des Ellbogengelenkes darstellt.

Summary

An essential pre-condition for the interpretation of computer tomographs of the elbow joint is a knowledge of the normal anatomy. The complexity of the joint requires a definite protocol for the examination, since only in this way is it possible to distinguish all anatomical structures and pathological processes. A clinical example is used to show that CT of the elbow joint is superior to all other radiographic methods for demonstrating osteochondritis dissecans. It is therefore an important additional method für demonstrating the elbow joint.
