Zusammenfassung
Bei 21 Patienten mit mesenterialem Tumor wird die Wertigkeit der CT untersucht. Im CT sind mesenteriale Zysten gegenüber Sarkomen abzugrenzen. Die CT liefert Informationen über Größe, Lokalisation, Struktur sowie Ausmaß der tumorösen Infiltration. Die Dichtewerte lassen bei Nachweis liquider, lipomatöser, myxoider und ossärer Areale gewisse Hinweise auf den strukturellen Aufbau der Läsion zu, gestatten jedoch nur selten eine histologische Zuordnung. Die umschriebene Darminfiltration ist nicht zu erkennen, die diffuse intra- und retroperitoneale Tumoraussaat ist im CT jedoch nachweisbar. Aszites, intraperitoneale und hämatogene Metastasen sind bei mesenterialen Sarkomen seltene Befunde.
Summary
The value of CT in the investigation of mesenteric tumours was studied in 21 patients. It is possible to differentiate mesenteric cysts from sarcomas, and CT provides information concerning the size, localisation, structure and extent of the tumour and the degree of infiltration. Density measurements provide evidence concerning the structure of the lesion, whether it is liquid, lipomatous, myxoid or osseous. Only rarely is it possible to make a histological diagnosis. Localised infiltration of the gut cannot be recognised, but diffuse intra- and retro-peritoneal tumour spread can be seen by CT. Ascites, intra-peritoneal and haematogenous metastases are rare from mesenteric sarcomas.
