Zusammenfassung

Die Katheterembolisation der Arteria iliaca interna ist eine schnelle, wenig belastende und effektive Methode, lebensbedrohliche Blutungen im Bereich der Organe des kleinen Beckens zu beherrschen. Sie ist der chirurgischen Ligatur überlegen, weil das Ergebnis besser und der Eingriff weniger belastend für den Patienten ist. Mit der Vorstellung eines Fallbeispiels soll die Methodik erneut aufgezeigt und Indikationen und Komplikationen diskutiert werden.

Summary

The catheter embolization of the a. iliaca interna is a quick, little straining and effective method in order to control bleedings threatening life in the region of the organs of the small pelvis. It is superior to surgical ligature because of the better result and the less straining intervention. With the illustration of a case report the method will be demonstrated again and indications and complications will be discussed.
