Acute spinal subdural haematoma

Summary

A 55-year-old female was brought to our outpatient clinic with an initially ascending, acute hemiplegia. The following descending myelography and CT scan disclosed a mass lesion at C6-D4. The acute spinal subarachnoidal haemorrhage found at operation, its genesis, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation are discussed.

Zusammenfassung

Eine 55 Jahre alte Frau wurde mit einer aufsteigenden akuten Halbseitensymptomatik an unsere Ambulanz gebracht. Die durchgeführte absteigende Myelographie sowie die CT-Untersuchung ergaben eine Massenläsion in Höhe C6 bis Th4. Die intraoperativ gefundene akute spinale subarachnoidale Blutung, ihre Genese, Diagnose, Behandlung und Nachbehandlung werden im Nachfolgenden diskutiert.
