Summary

A patient with a posterior cranial fossa arachnoid cyst was studied by CT scan and radionuclide cisternography.

The value of isotope cisternography in establishing the existence of a communication between the cyst and the subarachnoid space is discussed in the light of diagnosis and surgical treatment.

Zusammenfassung

Ein Patient mit einer Arachnoidalzyste der hinteren Schädelgrube wurde mit CT-Scan und Isotopenzisternographie untersucht.

Der Wert der Isotopenzisternographie, die eine Verbindung zwischen der Zyste und dem Epiarachnoidalraum nachweist, wird besprochen im Hinblick auf die Diagnose und die operative Behandlung.
