Summary

A case of lumbosacral lipomeningocele in a 14-year-old girl with spinal dysraphism is reported. Intrathecal metrizamide injection, in conjunction with computerized tomography provided an excellent approach to the diagnostic evaluation and operative planning for this complex developmental malformation.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über einen Fall einer lumbosakralen Lipomeningozele bei einem 14jährigen Mädchen mit spinaler Dysrhaphie berichtet. Die intrathekale Injektion von Metrizamid ermöglichte bei gleichzeitiger Anwendung der Computertomographie einen ausgezeichneten Ansatz zur diagnostischen Bewertung und für gezieltes operatives Vorgehen in der Behandlung dieser komplizierten Mißbildung.
