Gutartige Zystadenome der Pars plicata des Ziliarkörpers

Zusammenfassung

Die gutartigen Epitheliome des Ziliarkörpers (gutartige Ziliarkörperadenome) können durch Zystenbildung eine sekundäre Vorbuckelung der peripheren Iris zur Folge haben. In alternden Augen erreichen die häufig vorkommenden gutartigen Zystadenome nicht die für die Vorbuckelung der peripheren Iris erforderliche Größe. Von den verhältnismäßig jungen Probanden werden die mit Vorbuckelung der peripheren Iris einhergehenden, relativ selten zu beobachtenden gutartigen Zystadenome der Pars plicata des Ziliarkörpers durch Farbphotos dokumentiert. Differentialdiagnostisch ist der Nachweis eines Zystadenoms durch Zykloskopie bei Verdacht auf einen malignen Tumor des Ziliarkörpers von Bedeutung.

Summary

The benign epitheliomas of the ciliary body (benign ciliary body adenomas) are capable of producing a secondary bulging of the iris periphery. In aging eyes the frequently occurring benign cystadenomas do not attain the size required to cause the iris periphery to bulge. Of the benign cystadenomas of the pars plicata of the ciliary body which are relatively rarely observed, those characterized by a bulging of the iris periphery are described in a collective of comparatively young subjects, and illustrated with color photographs. With respect to differential diagnosis, the proof of a cystadenoma by cycloscopy is essential if a malignant tumor of the ciliary body is suspected.
