Zusammenfassung

Durch Absaugen eines regeneratorischen Nachstars nach Phakoemulsifikation (oder anderen extrakapsulären Kataraktextraktionsverfahren) kann die hintere Linsenkapsel geschont werden. Bei bisher 22 derartigen Operationen waren die Resultate gut.

Summary

In cases of secondary regenerative cataract after phacoemulsification (or other extracapsular cataract extraction techniques) it is possible to take care of the posterior capsular lens using the irrigation-aspiration-tip of the Kelman-Cavitron equipment. The results of 22 operations done by this technique are favourable.
