¹³³Xe-Markierung von Gewebekleber für die Katheterembolisation

Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine Methode zur Radionuklidmarkierung von Histo-acryl^®/Lipiodol^® mit ¹³³Xe-Gas beschrieben. Die Markierung erfolgt unter sterilen Bedingungen nach physikalischer Lösung des markierten Edelgases in Lipiodol. Nach der Katheterembolisation und Kontrollangiographie wird die Lokalisation des Embolisationsmaterials mit einer Szintillationskamera kontrolliert. Die Markierung wurde bei 15 Patienten durchgeführt. Bei allen Patienten entsprach die szintigraphisch dokumentierte Lage des Embolisationsmaterials den röntgendiagnostischen Befunden. Eine Abschwemmung des Materials konnte auch szintigraphisch nicht nachgewiesen werden.

Summary

A method for radio-nucleide labelling of histo-acryl/lipiodol with ¹³³Xe gas is described. The method consists of disolving the gas in lipiodol under sterile conditions. After embolisation and angiography, the localisation of the embolising material can be determined by means of a scintillation camera. The labelling method was used in 15 patients. In all patients the position of the embolising material, as demonstrated by scintigraphy, corresponded with the radiological findings. It was not possible to demonstrate escape of the material by scintigraphy.
