Zusammenfassung

Bei 16 Patienten wurde im Anschluß an eine hohe Koloskopie eine Sonde im Zökum belassen, über die Kontrastmittel und Luft eingebracht wurde. In 10 Fällen gelang eine selektive Doppelkontrastdarstellung des terminalen Ileums, in 2 Fällen kam eine Monokontrastdarstellung zustande und in 4 Fällen war kein Reflux provozierbar. 2 dieser 4 Fälle hatten eine hochgradige langstreckige Stenose des terminalen Ileums.

Summary

Following high colonoscopy, a catheter was introduced into the caecum in 16 patients and contrast material and air were injected. In ten patients it proved possible to obtain selective double contrast demonstration of the terminal ileum and, in two patients, a single contrast examination was obtained. In four patients there was no reflux, but two of these had severe and extensive stenoses of the terminal ileum.
