Die Strahlenexposition bei ERCP und Pneumokolon

Zusammenfassung

Während 50 ERCP- und 70 Pneumokolonuntersuchungen wurden mittels CaF₂-Thermolumineszenzdosimetrie (TLD) Oberflächendosen im Nutz- und Streustrahlenbereich gemessen. Beide Untersuchungsabläufe wurden zur Ermittlung von Organdosen an einem Alderson-Rando-Phantom simuliert. Mit den erhaltenen Meßwerten wurden somatische Dosisindizes und somatisch signifikante Dosisindizes zur Einschätzung des individuellen und kollektiven Risikos berechnet. Die Röntgenuntersuchung des Kolons erbringt zwar 200mal höhere Gonadendosen als die ERCP, liefert jedoch einen geringen Beitrag zur Strahlenexposition der Organe Schilddrüse, Lunge und weibliche Brust.

Summary

During the course of 50 ERCPs and 70 pneumo-colons, the surface dose in the field and the scatter was measured by CaF₂-thermoluminescence dosimetry. The organ dose for both procedures was calculated by using an Alderson-Rando phantom. The results were used for calculating somatic dose indices in order to evaluate the individual and collective risks. Radiological examination of the colon results in two hundred times the gonadal dose produced by ERCP, but produces less radiation to the thyroid, lung and female breast.
