Digitale Subtraktionsphlebographie

Zusammenfassung

Die Venendarstellung durch digitale Subtraktionsangiographie, als digitale Subtraktionsphlebographie (DSP) bezeichnet, ist diagnostisch ausreichend im Bereich der Hohlvene, der Becken- und Armvenen. Die gute Darstellung und Aussagekraft von Gefäßveränderungen der Vena cava sowie der Beckenvenen muß hervorgehoben werden. Im Beinvenenbereich ist die Methode, vergleichend zur konventionellen Phlebographie, ohne Vorteil. Die DSP ist zeit- und kostensparend, weiterhin sind deutlich geringere Kontrastmittelkonzentrationen ausreichend.

Summary

The usefulness of digital subtraction angiography of the venous system, which we have termed „digital subtraction phlebography (DSP)” was demonstrated in the region of the vena cava, the pelvic veins and the veins of the arms. DSP is especially of diagnostic value in the region of the vena cava and pelvic veins and offers no advantage in the veins of the lower extremities compared to conventional phlebography. DSP is a time - and cost - saving method, furthermore minor concentrations of contrast media are needed.
