Zusammenfassung

Die diagnostische Information der Computertomographie bei malignen Neoplasien des Larynx wird anhand 23 eigener Beobachtungen erörtert. Durch die direkte computertomographische Darstellung des Tumors und seiner Nachbarschaftsbeziehung sowie der regionären Lymphknotenstationen ermöglicht diese nichtinvasive Untersuchungsmethode eine exakte Stadieneinteilung des Tumors, d. h. prätherapeutische Daten, die mittels traditioneller radiologischer Untersuchungsverfahren in dieser Vollständigkeit nicht erhältlich sind.

Summary

The diagnostic information derived by computer tomography in malignant tumours of the larynx has been evaluated in 23 cases. The direct demonstration of the tumour and its relationships and of regional lymph nodes permits accurate staging of the tumour by this non-invasive method. This pre-treatment information cannot be obtained as completely by traditional methods.
