Die digitale Videosubtraktionsangiographie erweitert die Möglichkeiten der nichtinvasiven Diagnostik von Herztumoren. Während Echokardiographie und digitale Videosubtrakionsangiographie Vorteile in der Darstellung von Tumorbewegungen haben, ist die Tumorausbreitungsdiagnostik bei Herzwandinfiltration oder Infiltration des Perikards mit der Echokardiographie und Kardio-Computertomographie präziser möglich. Eine Angiokardiographie ist nicht mehr erforderlich.

Summary

Digital video subtraction angiography extends the possibility for the non-invasive diagnosis of cardiac tumours. Echocardiography and DVSA have advantages for demonstrating movement of the tumour, whereas its extent and infiltration of the myocardium and pericardium are more precisely accomplished by echocardiography and cardio-computer tomography. An angiocardiogram is no longer necessary.
