Computertomographie nach Nierentrauma

Zusammenfassung

In Abhängigkeit vom Verletzungstyp sowie dem Zeitintervall zwischen Unfallereignis und Untersuchungstermin wird die computertomographische Morphologie renaler Traumafolgen anhand 20 nierenverletzter Patienten erörtert; die daraus resultierenden Konsequenzen im Hinblick auf die Indikationsstellung und das diagnostische Prozedere werden diskutiert. Das renale Kontrastenhancement gilt als unerläßliche diagnostische Maßnahme im Rahmen der notfallmäßigen computertomographischen Exploration nierenverletzter Patienten, um die Notwendigkeit oder den Verzicht auf anderweitige diagnostische Maßnahmen, d. h. vor allem auf urographische und angiographische Dokumentationsmöglichkeiten, zu rechtfertigen.

Summary

The computer tomographic appearances of renal trauma in 20 patients were analysed with special reference to the type of injury and to the interval between the traumatic incident and the examination. Contrast enhancement is regarded as an essential part of the computer tomographic examination in patients with renal trauma. The need for other diagnostic measures, such as urography or angiography; can then be determined.
