Abstract

This chapter reviews the basic technique, indications, and problems with angiography of hemodialysis fistulas. Incorporated in the chapter is a description of the angiographic technique, particularly via the brachial artery or direct graft puncture, or puncture of the efferent shunt vein as in cases of Cimino-Brescia fistulas. The normal vascular findings in the shunt as well as recognition of the abnormal findings are described.
