Abstract
A case of caeco-ureterocele is presented, which is a rare special form of ectopic ureterocele and which was first described by Stephens. Its differential diagnostic characteristics compared with the prolaps of ureterocele are described.
The article also discusses possible embryological causes which might explain this peculiar type of malformation.
Zusammenfassung
Anhand eines Falles wird die wenig bekannte ,,Caecoureterocele" (Stephens) vorgestellt und ihre differentialdiagnostische Abgrenzung zum Ureterocelenprolaps beschrieben.
Auf embryologische Vorstellung, die diese eigenartige Mißbildung erklären könnte, wird eingegangen.
