Zusammenfassung

Myelolipome sind seltene, benigne Tumoren der Nebenniere und weisen histologisch eine Komposition aus reifem Tumorgewebe und hämatopoetischen Zellen aller drei Blutbildungsreihen auf. Berichtet wird über ein ungewöhnlich großes, 1245 g schweres Myelolipom nach vorangegangener Adrenal- und Nephrektomie wegen eines gleichartigen Befundes.

Abstract

Myelolipomas are uncommon, benign tumors of the adrenal gland. Histologically, they are composed of mature fatty tissue and bone marrow elements. This report describes an unusually large myelolipoma weighing 1245 g, following previous adrenalectomy and nephrectomy of a similar lesion on the contralateral side. It is very important to confirm the diagnosis by biopsy.
