Zusammenfassung
Zwei Fälle einer unspezifischen granulomatösen Orchitis zeigen, daß die klinische
Untersuchung einschließslich der skrotalen Sonographie und operativen Exploration
die Hodenschwellung kausal nicht abzuklären vermochten. Erst die feingewebliche Untersuchung
des durch die Hodenfreilegung gewonnenen Gewebes ergab in beiden Fällen die Diagnose.
Die Zerstörung des Hodenparenchyms rechtfertigt die Semikastration.
Abstract
2 cases of a non-specific granulomatous orchitis show, that despite clinical examination
including scrotal-ultrasound and operative exploration the pathogenesis of the testicular
tumor remains obscure. Only microscopic examination of tissue received from scrotal
exploration offered a final diagnosis in both cases. No normal seminiferous tubules
and no active spermatogenesis were seen, therefore justifying surgical therapy (semicastration).
