Elektrotherapie zur Verbesserung gestörter Wundheilung und zur Heilung chronischer Hautulzera

Summary

Acceleration of regenerative processes is a new topical indication for electrotherapy. The survey gives the state of the art in three chapters:

• Indications

• The spectrum of relevant electrotherapeutic methods, types of current and parameters: Direct current, pulsed currents, high voltage electrical stimulation (HVS), acupuncture like (APL-)TENS, microamperage transcutaneous electrical stimulation, pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs).

  Results of the methods, devices, modalities of application, dose-parameters and open questions are discussed.

• The conclusion are given to take electrotherapy as an alternative to conventional therapy for wound-healing and ulcer therapy.

Zusammenfassung

Die Förderung regenerativer Prozesse ist ein neues, aktuelles Indikationsgebiet der Elektrotherapie. Die Übersicht gibt den derzeitigen wissenschaftlichen Stand in drei Kapiteln wieder:

• Indikation

• das Spektrum der derzeit angewandten Elektrotherapieverfahren (Stromformen und Parameter).

  Besprochen werden: Gleichstrom, Impulsströme, Hochvoltstimulation (HVS), acupuncture like (APL)TENS, elektrische Hinterstrangreizung (SCS), Mikroampere-Reizströme sowie pulsierende elektromagnetische Felder (PEMFs).

  Resultate der Verfahren, Geräte, Behandlungsformen und Dosierungsvorschläge werden erörtert.

• Im Schlußkapitel werden offene Fragen diskutiert und die Schlußfolgerung gezogen, elektrotherapeutische Verfahren als alternative Behandlungsverfahren zur konventionellen Wund- und Ulzerabehandlung einzusetzen.
