Zusammenfassung
Postoperative Komplikationen bei der Behandlung des Priapismus sind häufig, überwiegend jedoch von geringerer Bedeutung für die Prognose der Erkrankung. Etwa ein Drittel der Komplikationen wirkt sich allerdings prognostisch ungünstig aus: hierzu zählen vorzeitige Shuntobliterationen, urethrale und perkutane Fisteln, grangränöse Veränderungen und totale Indurationen. Gefährlich ist eine unsachgemäße Kompressionsbehandlung. Am wenigsten komplikationsanfällig ist das Ebbehøj/Winter-Verfahren.
Abstract
Postoperative complications in the treatment of priapism are frequent but, in most cases, of minor importance for the prognosis. However, about one third of all complications implies negative effects on the prognosis such as early shunt obliteration, urethral and percutaneous fistulae, gangrene and total indurations. Inadequate treatment by compression may imply a serious risk for the patient. The treatment involving the least possible risk is the Ebbehøj/Winter procedure.
