Adenomatoide Metaplasie der prostatischen Harnröhre

Zusammenfassung

Die adenomatoide Metaplasie oder sog. nephrogene Metaplasie gilt als seltene, posttraumatisch oder infolge chronischer Infekte auftretende Veränderung des Urothels, meist im Bereich der Harnblase. Der Fall eines Patienten mit metaplastischen Veränderungen im prostatischen Teil der Harnröhre ohne vorausgegangenes Trauma oder chronische Harnwegsinfektionen wird beschrieben. Dies widerspricht der Assoziation zwischen adenomatoider Metaplasie und lokaler Vorschädigung.

Abstract

Adenomatoid metaplasia, or so-called nephrogenic metaplasia is an uncommon alteration of urothelium associated with prior trauma or chronic infection, mostly involving the urinary bladder. The case of a patient with metaplastic changes of the prostatic urethra without a history of prior trauma and/or chronic infection is presented. This contradicts the association between adenomatoid metaplasia and preexistent local lesion.
