Abstract

Diagnosis and therapy of injuries to the kidney and ureter are discussed from the standpoint of the multiply-injured child. Problems of the isolated ureter-injury are detailed, and illustrated on the basis of three cases of ours, where the ureter was completely torn off. The aetiology of these injuries, as well as the diagnostic and operative procedures, are mentioned.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über die Diagnostik und Therapie bei Verletzungen der Niere und des Harnleiters unter Berücksichtigung des polytraumatisierten Kindes berichtet. Die Problematik der isolierten Harnleiterverletzung wird diskutiert und anhand von drei eigenen Fällen von vollständigen Ureterabrissen die Ätiologie dieser Verletzung, sowie das diagnostische und operative Vorgehen erörtert.
