Abstract
The severity of an isolated injury to the kidney does not always correspond to clear,
clinical symptoms. Case report of a 13-year-old girl who suffered a complete tear
of the vessels out of the hilus of the kidney, following a fall on her side. The complaints
which led to admission, and eventually to operation, presented two days later. Non-functioning
urogramm, renal scintigramm, especially demonstrating excretion, and possibly renovasography,
are the essential preoperative methods of examination, if the operation does not have
to be carried out acutely, under vital indications.
Zusammenfassung
Dem Schweregrad der isolierten Nierenverletzung entspricht keineswegs immer auch eine
deutliche klinische Symptomatik; Bericht über ein 13jahriges Mädchen, das trotz kompletten
Gefäßausrisses aus dem Nierenhilus infolge eines Flankensturzes erst 2 Tage später
zur Aufnahme und Operation führende Beschwerden hatte. Stummes Ausscheidungsurogramm,
Renoszintigramm, insbesondere Sequenzszintigraphie und evtl. Renovasographie sind
die wesentlichen präoperativen Untersuchungsmethoden, wenn nicht unter Vitalindikation
akut probatorisch operiert werden muß.
