Die ambulante Nachbehandlung - Allgemeines und Verletzungen innerer Organe

Abstract

Out-patient after-care, in the widest sense, requires firstly well thought-out and smoothly-running planning and organisation, so that all operations, check-ups and other measures can be carried out at the right time, and co-ordinate reasonably with each other.
Secondly, the therapeutic measures, which will form an essential part of out-patient after-care, should if possible be laid down when the patient is discharged from the ward, in order to preserve the continuity of treatment.
Co-operation with the family doctor is an important factor ensuring the smooth and favourable course of the after-care period.
In the follow-up of internal organic injuries, the functions of the organs should be especially checked; and attention should be paid to prompt recognition of possible complications arising from late sequelae. Therapeutic measures per se are mostly of a physiotherapeutic nature, as, for instance, breathing exercises, postural gymnastics, and such like. Those children who are suspected of being injured through child-battering should be subjected to particularly strict out-patient checks. In such cases, close co-operation with the authorities is of invaluable help.

Zusammenfassung

Die ambulante Nachbehandlung im weitesten Sinne des Wortes, erfordert einmal eine gut durchdachte und klaglos funktionierende Planung und Organisation, so daß sämtliche Eingriffe, Kontrollen und Maßnahmen zeitgerecht und sinnvoll aufeinander abgestimmt durchgeführt werden können.
Zum Zweiten sind die therapeutischen Maßnahmen als wesentliche Inhalte der ambulanten Nachbehandlung schon bei der Entlassung aus der stationären Betreuung nach Möglichkeit festzulegen, um die Kontinuität der Behandlung nicht zu unterbrechen.
Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Hausarzt stellt eine wichtige Voraussetzung für den klaglosen und günstigsten Ablauf der Nachbehandlungsperiode dar.
Bei der Nachbehandlung innerer Organverletzungen ist vor allem auf die Kontrolle der Organfunktionen sowie die rechtzeitige Erkennung der möglichen Komplikationen und Spätschäden zu achten. Eigentliche Behandlungsmaßnahmen sind meist physiotherapeutischer Natur, wie z. B. Atemgymnastik, Haltungsturnen und ähnliches. Eine besonders straffe ambulante Nachsorge ist bei jenen Kindern durchzuführen, deren Verletzungshergang mißhandlungsverdächtig erscheint. Dabei ist eine gute Zusammenarbeit mit den zuständigen Behörden eine unerläßliche Hilfe.
