Die Position der Physiotherapie im therapeutischen System aus komplementaristischer Sicht¹

Zusammenfassung

Ausgehend vom Komplementaritätsbegriff N. Bohrs werden die beiden Kategorien „Wissenschaftliche Medizin” und „Wissen vom Kranken” als ein komplementaristisches Begriffspaar mit einer nomothetischen und einer idiographischen Komponente aufgefaßt. Daraus wird ein adäquates Konzept für eine Therapiestrategie entwickelt, welches die Berücksichtigung sowohl der pathischen als auch der zeitlichen Ganzheit einer Krankenbehandlung zum Ziele hat. Die spezielle Rolle der Physiotherapie im Rahmen dieses Konzeptes wird definiert.

Summary

Issuing from N. Bohr's idea of complementarity the two categories “scientific medicine” and “knowledge patients” are conceived as a complementaristic pair of concepts with a nomothetic and an idiographic component. From this an adequate concept for a therapy strategy is developed, which has as its aim the consideration of both the pathic and the temporary totality of a treatment of patients. The special role of physiotherapy within this concept is defined.
