Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine Übersicht über die Aufgaben und die Arbeit der Physiotherapeutin in der internistischen Intensivmedizin gegeben. Der Beginn der Behandlung erfolgt mit der Aufnahme des Patienten auf der Station mit der Orientierung über Krankheitsbild und Zustand des Patienten, danach entsprechende Atem- und Bewegungstherapie. Die spezifischen Behandlungen schließen sich an. Engste Zusammenarbeit mit den Ärzten, aber auch die Ergänzung Physiotherapie - Schwesternarbeit ist von äußerster Wichtigkeit, um im Behandlungsteam die Wiederherstellung der Vitalfunktionen zu erreichen und den Zustand der Patienten zufriedenstellend zu verbessern.
