Hypnotherapie bei körperlichen Symptomen

Abstract

Zusammenfassung

Hypnose als neurobiologisch nachweisbar veränderter Bewusstseinszustand wird in der Behandlung körperlicher Symptome, speziell somatoformer und psychosomatischer Störungen genutzt, um einen verbesserten Zugang zur körperlichen Ebene zu erreichen. Die empirisch belegte Wirksamkeit in diesem Bereich beruht vermutlich unter anderem auf der erhöhten psychosomatischen Durchlässigkeit und Vernetzungsfähigkeit in hypnotischer Trance. Bei psychosomatischen Krankheiten können auf diese Weise die peripher physiologische, die zentral-kortikale, die Erlebnis- und Konflikt-Ebene sowie die Verhaltensebene und kognitive Ebene assoziativ in Verbindung gebracht werden. Hypnotherapeutische Interventionen umfassen außer Entspannung, Heilungsimaginationen auf der kortikalen und der Symptomebene, Strategien der Externalisierung emotionaler Konflikte in symbolischer Form und der Ichstärkung. Die erhöhte Dissoziationsfähigkeit wird zur Schmerzbehandlung herangezogen. Behandlungskonzepte liegen u. a. für Reizdarm, diverse Hauterkrankungen, Asthma, Arthritis, Schlafstörungen, Übergewicht, Rauchen, Migräne und zahlreiche andere Schmerzformen vor. Somatopsychische Ängste und Depression nach gravierenden Diagnosen und Eingriffen sowie die Bewältigung von Nebenwirkungen der Chemotherapie fallen ebenfalls in diesen Anwendungsbereich der Hypnotherapie.
