Zusammenfassung

Die seltene Blutgruppe eines Bombay-Typs (0_h) wurde als Zufallsbefund bei einer 62jährigen Patientin mit stenosierender koronarer Herzkrankheit festgestellt. Nach vorsorglicher Tiefkühlkonservierung autologen Blutes wurde unter Anwendung der extrakorporalen Zirkulation die direkte Myokardrevaskularisation durchgeführt. Für die Operation wurden drei tiefkühlkonservierte Erythrozytenkonzentrate verbraucht. Operation und postoperative Wundheilung verliefen komplikationslos.

Abstract

A 62-year-old woman with stenosing coronary artery disease had the rare blood group 0_h (Bombay phenotype). After prophylactic deep-freeze conservation of autologous blood, direct myocardial revascularization was successfully accomplished under extracorporeal circulation. Three deep-freeze units of erythrocyte concentrates were used. Both operation and postoperative wound healing progressed without complication.
