Zusammenfassung

Bei 18 Patientinnen, die wegen verschiedener maligner Tumoren zytostatisch behandelt werden mußten, fand sich ein Anstieg sowohl der Serumharnsäure als auch der renalen Uratausscheidung. Eine anschließend durchgeführte urikostatische Therapie mit Tagesdosen von 300 mg Allopurinol führte zu einem signifikanten Abfall beider Parameter.

Abstract

Increased serum uric acid and renal excretion was found in 18 female patients undergoing cytostatic treatment because of various malignant tumours. Subsequent uricostatic treatment with daily doses of 300 mg allopurinol led to a significant decrease of both parameters.
