Zusammenfassung
Mit Hilfe einer verfeinerten Methode der direkten sagittalen Computertomographie des
Hirnschädels sind artefaktfreie und annähernd anatomiegerechte Projektionen möglich.
Im Vergleich mit der mathematischen Bildrekonstruktion ist die Strukturauflösung besser,
die Untersuchungsdauer kürzer und die Strahlenbelastung geringer. Da alle Strukturen,
die in der Schichtebene liegen, abgebildet werden, lassen sich Lokalisation, Ausdehnung
und Lagebeziehung von Hirnprozessen besser erkennen.
Abstract
It is possible by means of an improved method of direct sagittal computed tomography
of the skull to obtain projections which are anatomically nearly correct and free
of artefact. Structural resolution is better then with mathematical image reconstruction,
the examination is shorter and radiation exposure less. Since all structures contained
within a given plane are visualized, localization, size and position of an intracranial
process can be better recognized.
