Abstract

A new furocoumarin was isolated from the roots of Peucedanum ruthenicum M.B. (Umbelliferae). Its structure was established as 4,' 8 - dimethoxy - 5' - isopropylpsoralen, i.e. 8 - methoxy-peucedanin.
