Trichoadenom Nikolowski

Zusammenfassung

Das Trichoadenom Nikolowski ist ein seltener, gutartiger follikulärer Adnextumor, der genau vor 50 Jahren erstmalig beschrieben wurde. Meist treten die Tumore solitär im Gesicht auf. Wir berichten über einen 78-jährigen Patienten, der sich wegen eines Basalioms an der Nase vorstellte und bei dem als Nebenbefund zwischen den Schulterblättern ein symptomloser 2 cm großer Knoten bestand. Klinisch wurde an ein Fibrom, Lipom oder Neurofibrom gedacht. Histologisch zeigte sich das typische Bild eines Trichoadenoms. Die Kasuistik verdeutlicht einmal mehr, dass sich hinter klinisch unspektakulären Läsionen seltene Adnextumoren verbergen können, sodass eine histologische Untersuchung auch solcher Veränderungen stets angestrebt werden sollte.

Abstract

Trichoadenoma of Nikolowski is a rare benign follicular tumor which was described for the first time 50 years ago. The solitary tumor occurs mostly on the face. We report on a 78-year-old man who presented himself with a basal cell carcinoma on his nose. Additionally he had an asymptomatic nodule 2 cm in diameter between his shoulder blades. Clinically, a fibroma, lipoma or neurofibroma was suspected. Histological examination revealed the typical features of a trichoadenoma. This case demonstrates that rare adnexal tumors can be concealed behind a clinically inconspicuous lesion. A histopathological examination is always recommended.
