Chronische gastrointestinale Erkrankungen bei Hunden und Katzen sind ein häufig in der Kleintierpraxis vorgestelltes Problem. Die Diagnostik ist für den Tierarzt eine große Herausforderung. Ergeben Anamnese, klinische Untersuchung, Laboruntersuchungen und andere bildgebende Verfahren nur unspezifische Hinweise, ist die Gastroduodenoskopie eine weitere wertvolle diagnostische Möglichkeit.
