Zusammenfassung
Bei der mechano-chemischen Ablation (MOCA) wird die zu behandelnde Vene nicht erhitzt, sondern mittels Mechanik und Chemie verschlossen. Es wird kein Betäubungsmittel benötigt, da der Zugang zur Vene mittels 18G-Venenverweilkanüle erfolgt und es können durch die nicht-thermische Funktionsweise auch keine Nervenläsionen auftreten. Dadurch eignet sich MOCA insbesondere zur Behandlung der Vena saphena parva (VSP).
