Psychoonkologische Versorgung: eine Herausforderung

Zusammenfassung

Die psychischen und sozialen Belastungen durch eine Krebserkrankung und deren Therapie sind vielfältig, nicht nur für die Krebspatienten selbst, sondern auch für deren Angehörige. Ebenso vielfältig sind die Anforderungen an eine optimale psychoonkologische Versorgung: adäquate Konzepte sollten wirksam, patientenzentriert, qualitätsgesichert, flächendeckend implementiert, auf dem neuesten Stand und finanzierbar sein. Was ist zu beachten?

Abstract

Cancer patients and their relatives suffer from multiple psychological and social problems associated with the illness itself and its treatment. The major challenge for an excellent psychooncological support is the further development and nationwide implementation of effective, patient-centered, quality assured, and affordable concepts of treatment and care.
