Chiari-ähnliche Malformation beim Hund – Über Diagnostik und Therapiemöglichkeiten

Die Syringomyelie geht mit einer Herniation des Kleinhirns in den Wirbelkanal und einer Hohlraumbildung im Rückenmark einher. Die Erkrankung, die oftmals symptomfrei verläuft, kann in einigen Fällen jedoch zu Parästhesien und Schmerzen führen. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über Ursachen, Diagnostik und Therapie.
