Joyce V. Veld et al. A systematic review of advanced endoscopy-assisted lithotripsy for retained biliary tract stones: laser, electrohydraulic or extracorporeal shock wave
This systematic review included almost 2000 patients who underwent lithotripsy (electrohydraulic, laser, or extracorporeal shock wave) for retained bile duct stones. It was concluded that laser lithotripsy seems to be the most successful advanced endoscopy-assisted lithotripsy technique, although randomized controlled trials are lacking.
